HOW HOPE WORKS.

Hope, such a positive word. Whenever something bad happens we are asked to not give up on our hope, isn’t it?

Well a few days back i happened to read about ‘Pandora’s box” Iam pretty sure everyone knows about it. In simple words its one of many greek god stories which are full of drama and fun. In short Zeus (greek god , god of gods) was furious when human beings learned about fire so in order to teach them a lesson he sends Pandora, a beautiful woman to the earth with a box promised never to be opened but she was also cursed with curiousity forcing her to open the box. As soon as she opens the box various diseases gets released from the box and not able to suffer all these diseases people started killing themselves. Pandora felt really guilty about this and she prayed to Zeus to end their sufferings, instead he gave all human beings “hope” that one day their sufferings will end.

People believe that hope is the worst punishment Zeus ever gave to human beings as now they didn’t even kill themselves when suffering as they had a hope that things will get better, that they will get better.

Even when nothing in our life is going right we always have a hope that one day things will be much better. No matter how many times we get fucked by hope, we will still hope because it is easier that way.
